Smartrack

Protector and Alert24 Systems can be fitted to cars, caravans, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, HGV, boats, motorcycles and some plant equipment.

With our range of stolen vehicle recovery vehicles, SmarTrack and Acousticar have the perfect solution for you and your vehicle.

Protector
The protector is covertly installed on the vehicle and does not require any involvement from the owner.  You would use the vehicle as normal.  If the vehicle is stolen, you would obtain an incident/crime number from your local Police and pass this to the 24 hour SmarTrack secure operating centre.

SmarTrack will then establish the location of the stolen vehicle using satellite based GPS technology and liaise with the Police, security and recovery services.  SmarTrack will provide regular location updates as necessary until your asset is located and recovered.

Alert24
The Alert24 is a pro-active system, covertly installed on the vehicle and incorporates movement sensor which detects unauthorised movement of the vehicle.

If the vehicle is illegally moved, a signal is sent to the SmarTrack secure operating centre who will in turn call the owner to confirm a possible theft. If the theft is confirmed SmarTrack can begin to track the vehicle live.

Unlike other tracking devices SmarTrack can be transferred from one vehicle to another.

Tracker Monitor, Retrieve, Horizon, Response

Retrieve
The TRACKER Retrieve unit is a small electronic homing device that is hidden in your vehicle. It has no tell-tale aerials or wiring which gives away its position. When you report your vehicle as stolen, the unit is activated by the TRACKER Control Room, and begins emitting a silent radio signal that can be traced by police computers fitted in police cars and helicopters.

Monitor
TRACKER monitor works in the same way as TRACKER Retrieve but it automatically senses when the vehicle has been stolen and begins emitting signals straight away. TRACKER Network then contacts you for confirmation of the theft. Once confirmed the police can close in on the exact location of the vehicle very quickly.

Horizon
The latest addition to the TRACKER range incorporates GPS satellite technology in addition to radio transmissions. When the unit detects that a theft has taken place it is able to pinpoint the vehicle's location using GPS mapping with the aid of the GPS constellation of 24 satellites. This information is then relayed up the police who are deployed to the area and are then able to use the proven radio transmission technology to locate the vehicle, wherever it may be concealed.

Cobra Track Q

CobraTrak Q is an entry-level stolen vehicle recovery system with Pan-European tracking coverage.

On discovery of vehicle theft (or verification of vehicle theft after an alert for unauthorised vehicle movement) the owner must report the theft to the police and obtain a crime reference number, and then contact the Cobra 24 hour control to activate the stolen vehicle tracking procedure. This basic procedure applies for all systems offering stolen vehicle tracking.

Cobra Trak Q Attivo

With all the benefits of CobraTrak Q, the new CobraTrak Q attivo gives you the further advantage of being able to see precisely where your vehicle is at any given time, across Europe.

Owners can track, trace and interact with their vehicle online, using a new web application. Pin-point street level positioning with the ability to review exactly where the vehicle has been. For extra visibility and reassurance, the owner can receive positional updates direct to their mobile or evenvia fax. Other functions include time and distance tracking and a self-setting transport mode to avoid unnecessary alerts if the vehicle is being transported.

Cobra Trak 5

CobraTrak 5 is a Thatcham Category 5 listed product and therefore offers a high level of reassurance in the event of vehicle theft. Not only is the hardware tested by Thatcham, but so too is the Cobra dealer installation procedure and the operation of the 24 hour secure operating centre. CobraTrak 5 is supplied with 2 "automatic driver recognition" (ADR) cards which act to arm and disarm the CobraTrak unit.

This means extra reassurance that your vehicle can be tracked, even if the vehicle is stolen with the keys. The CobraTrak 5 system also has the additional ability to remotely immobilise the vehicleonce stolen, but note this can only be effected with official Police authorisation.
